[Scan-DC] CB Antenna

Hello All,

Back in the '70s & maybe early '80s, Radio Shack made a 3/8" roof mount
(hole mount) CB antenna that was only about 1 & 1/2 feet high.  It had the
Antenna Specialists rounded nut looking base that snapped into the hole, a
short spring at the base, and a coil in the middle.  While that antenna was
no K40 or today's Wilson, it was a GREAT performer when tuned properly.  For
those of you that remember that antenna, does anyone know if they can still
be found?  I used them on my trunk back "in the day", but they would make
good SUV antennas that don't have to be removed for garages.  I never
removed them for garages or car washes, not even the one that I installed on
a roof.
