[Scan-DC] Best Scanner for the Money?

Ed, You'll probably get a lot of opinions on this. Here's mine. If you're looking for ease-of-use and compatibility with many of today's digital trunking systems, then the Uniden Home Patrol is a great choice. Its typical street price, with shipping, is right around $500. I've had mine for nearly two years, and it's been great. You plug in your zip code (or lat/lon), and it loads in all the local systems. No programming. Especially nice when traveling. Andy
