John, here are some thoughts:
- Check the "Location" that you have the HP set to. If that is not set
properly, the HP may think that it is too far from Ffx to load it when it
loads systems for scanning.
- Make sure that your "Favorites" are updated. You might even want to go
as far as to create a "Test" favorite, and copy **only** the Ffx P25 system
to that favorite. Once you do that, you can tell your HP to ONLY load the
"Test" favorite and NOT to use the full database. This way, you will get
an idea of what is going wrong... if no channels are loaded when you select
the "Test" favorite only, then you have a location problem. If you select
the "Test" favorite only and get channels loaded for scanning but no
reception, then the issue is either your programming or your receive.
I expect to be out by Dulles on Saturday if you are still having problems,
but if you don't have the Extreme upgrade, then we can't looking into the
favorites from the HP itself.
