When the late Walt Starling was flying traffic for WASH-FM (97.1) the tail
number of his Cessna 152 was N971FM.
I used to fly, long ago, (took my lessons at GAI), so long ago that I flew a
Cessna 172 from a flying club based at IAD! But gave it up when I realized
I couldn't afford to fly frequently enough to fly safely.

When I worked for BellSouth and its subsidiary Cingular Wireless, its fleet
of corporate planes had tail numbers N404BS, N404BL, N404CW, and some other
N404xx numbers. 404 is the area code for Atlanta, which is BellSouth's
headquarters.
