[Scan-DC] Old TV

Someone was trying to sell one of those as a rare collecible, in an ad that ran in the City Paper for months and months. He had a high price on it, which surely did not help things. Practical use? I wish I knew. I have some battery-operated analog sets sitting around. In the old days, when power went out due to storms, I could attach a motorcycle battery to one and keep up with things. Not now. It's a shame. If I ran things, the FCC would have left one low power station running in every metropolitan area, just for emergency use.

I was going through an equipment drawer and found my old LCD analog handheld TV. Ah, I watched many episodes of The Simpsons and such programs in the early 90's while working part time..
Anyway, are there really any uses for it anymore? It still works, and dutifully scans the old UHF and VHF TV bands. Anyway, thought that you fine folks may have some ideas.
Thanks
