[Scan-DC] Space Shuttle Discovery Flight Over DC To Be Shown Live On WUSA 9

  * I was visiting my youngest son talking outside that morning in
    Manassas.  I had forgotten the plane's arrival and the sudden loud
    noise scared the @#$ out of me.  You don't hear the maximum engine
    noise when the plane is coming towards you.  However when overhead
    and passing it was deafening.  I looked up and the 747 then was
    about 1/4 mile northeast of my location at approximately 1,500-2,000
    ft. making a slow left turn for a final descent.  The T38 trainer
    was parallel to and not above the 747 when passing over the Manassas
    area.
