      On May 1, 2012, Frederick Tower will open and Class D airspace will take effect around the airport. The Air Safety Institute is conducting a Free seminar on the new VFR and IFR operations in the Frederick Class D airspace. This is also an opportunity to meet the new controllers, ask questions, and get a "heads up" on the new procedures for taxiing, departing from, and arriving to Frederick.
