[Scan-DC] UPDATE Re: Montgomery County Rebanding within 30 days

Okay, I started doing a little digging on this this evening, and I suspect the original information given below is incorrect.  I looked up the current control channels of the Montgomery County system and they were:

868.86250 (Primary)
868.68750 (Alternate)

868.88750 (Alternate)
868.93750 (Alternate)

Subtracting 15 MHz (as below) from each of them puts them at 853.####, but a check of the FCC database reveals no licenses for those frequencies for Montgomery County.  I _did_ find licenses in the 823 MHZ range, however, which would be not 15, but _45_ MHz lower than the current control frequencies... so I suspect that the new control channel frequencies will be:

823.86250 (Primary)
823.68750 (Alternate)
823.88750 (Alternate)
823.93750 (Alternate)

The FCC license database shows 21 frequencies in the 821 - 823 MHZ range for Montgomery County (under the call sign WPVK-244); they are:

821.2125
821.2750
821.3375
821.4875
821.6500
822.7375
822.8375
822.8875
822.9125
823.1125
823.1625
823.2750
823.3625
823.3875
823.4375
823.6125
823.6375
823.6875
823.8625
823.8875
823.9375

I'm guessing that those will be the frequencies of the system after the rebanding, with the control channels (control frequencies!) as above.

I have my spies working on this - will post anything I find out.
