[Scan-DC] Pg county listening on the GRE scanner?

Greetings,

I am trying to get an idea of weather or not to buy the GRE scanner that can get the new Pg county digital trunked system.  I have spoken to a few folks who have it and they say it is not always good at picking  the system up.  Before I spend money on a radio I want to do my home work to see if it is worth buying now or wait for another radio manufacturer to come out with a unit that may do better.  It is my understanding that the digital standard was agreed on this summer so hopefully the radio makers are working on it.  Thanks in advance for any thoughts.
