[Scan-DC] Anne Arundel County-some chnnels encrypted

With little fanfare, or at least I missed it, AA County has encrypted several channels. 

They are the "area" or auxiliary channels for each district plus a few others.

Apparently just by switching to a particular channel the transmission is encrypted atomically without any action taken by the officer.

I wonder if this is a precursor for things to come in AA County.

Note fire and MD State PD are still analog.

Any comments or info?
