[Scan-DC] Earthquake

I heard it right when I was exiting my office building in Ballston. It was low and slow. Either a prop or some kind of helicopter. I tried to get a visual but the surrounding buildings blocked my view. It definitely was distinctly different from other air traffic I normally hear in this area. Not sure what it was. Could have just been a prop on a missed or canceled approach to the diagonal runway at National.

In a while, he understood that this was an earthquake. My mom called from Alexandria, some four miles south of the Pentagon and National Airport, to say that she had heard a loud, low plane too. She thought that it was going down in the trees and would not make it to the airport.
