I think I might have seen a P-3 last night. I went out about 9:40 p.m., and I
ad my binoculars with me. I was going to take a look at Arcturus, Saturn - the
sual suspects. It was dark, but I am in Alexandria, so there is a lot of light
treaming skyward. Right around that time, a plane with straight wings - not
wept back - and four Allison T-501 engines flew over Alexandria, going from NW
o SE, in the direction of Andrews. It was low, and I watched it though my
inoculars. It could have been a C-130, but I don't think it's common to see
hem after dark.
