The Montgomery County Number 36 route also goes that way, but it operates Monday-Friday only. Will it have expanded service this weekend?

If one wants to go to the area without using a car, I believe the T2 bus goes up River Rd. and passes right by Congressional. It originates at the Friendship Heights Metro.
