I hope the Constellaltion shows up too.
I live in Alexandria, 8 miles due west of Andrews. Many years ago, on a Monday morning, I heard what I thought must surely be power boats on the Potomac. I mean, these were big motors running wide open. I looked up to see the Constellation headed west, back to Kansas City, I guess. What a sound. I miss them. I rode on one only once, on the Eastern Air Shuttle from DC to New York. They were replaced by Electras in 1968. If I'm not mistaken, EAL took out a two-page ad in the Washington Post to express its appreciation for these great aircraft.
