According to the website the Viking is 182 meters long.  In the pictures is 
certainly doesn't look 600 feet long -- it might be 182 feet long.  If it is 
182 m long, that is in fact one large, odd looking boat.

Looking at marinetraffic.com, seems to be a tug out of Yorktown VA called 
the Viking... sure looks big for a tug, tho, and strange... of course, the 
only thing I know about tugs is from reading _Little Toot_ fifty years ago!

I've still never seen anything that large this close to the shore.

(No interesting scanner activity here, by the way.)

Oh well. We now return you to your regularly scheduled homes and places of 
business.
