MTA police were all over the place in conjunction with the ICC ribbon
cutting on Monday morning. Didn't see any other police except as escorts
for the Governor, must have been some for the County Executives too. It is
amazing how short the drive is from Shady Grove to Georgia Ave.

State police, but no Transportation Authority police, huh?  _That's_
interesting.

I saw a traffic report that some lanes are closed on I-270; apparently there
is similar stuff going on there.  There are always MSP cars in those
construction zones, but of course they patrol 270 and 370, so it seems
strange that the staties are over there on Norbeck.

I gotta work tomorrow afternoon and evening, but am planning to take a spin
on it mid-morning, before I go in.

Thanks!
