This is just pure speculation, but my bet is that they will use one of their
current 453.xxxx frequencies. If this happens, I would think the Nice
Bridge frequency of 453.9750 with a different CTCSS tone (other than the
Nice Bridge 3A/127.3 tone). If I were the radio shop, this is how I would
do it since everything can be put into service with minimal cost/effort. I
notice that their 453.5750 frequency is spread out over three bridges, Bay,
Hatem, & Key, and with their own different CTCSS tones. I picked the Nice
Bridge frequency because it is the farthest away, which would in turn be the
best effort at avoiding interference if units from both locations were
operating simultaneously. Again, this is just ****pure speculation****, and
as always, I reserve the right to be wrong!!!

Subject: [Scan-DC] ICC Frequencies
The first (western) leg of the new Inter-County Connector toll road is
scheduled to open sometime in early 2011... apparently the Maryland
Transportation Authority Police will have jurisdiction... does anyone have
any inside information about what sort of radio system they might use?
Looks as if they have UHF radios in the 450 MHz range at their other
facilities... there is a post from Eric Carlson in the RadioReference forums
wondering the same thing and also wondering if they might piggyback onto the
Montgomery County trunked system... I would think that if something new is
going in, that somebody would have stumbled on some test transmissions...
