The first (western) leg of the new Inter-County Connector toll road is scheduled to open sometime in early 2011... apparently the Maryland Transportation Authority Police will have jurisdiction... does anyone have any inside information about what sort of radio system they might use?  Looks as if they have UHF radios in the 450 MHz range at their other facilities... there is a post from Eric Carlson in the RadioReference forums wondering the same thing and also wondering if they might piggyback onto the Montgomery County trunked system... I would think that if something new is going in, that somebody would have stumbled on some test transmissions...
