[Scan-DC] FW: ! Flash, Pro 106 @ $249!

I can't remember if anyone answered this or not...  it's not really a question of advantages - most every jurisdiction here in the DC area is trunked, and on many of them the audio signal (modulation) is digital... so you have to have a digital trunking scanner to hear the system.  For information on individual jurisdictions and their systems, check radioreference.com

Some systems are digital, some are analog; all of these scanners can distinguish the difference and decode appropriately.
