[Scan-DC] Need scanner suggestion

We'll need some more information here... such as:
What programming software are you using?
What system are you trying to listen to?
How are you connecting the radio to the computer - through the serial port, or the USB port, or some other way?
That's for starters...
I believe the BCT8 will not receive an Apco-25 digital system such as Montgomery County is now on... I'm not sure what other jurisdictions are using what, but you can find that on radioreference.com.
As for connecting the radio and the computer, usually you will have to set up a comm port with whatever programming software you're using to connect the two.
Post your answers/information here and I'll try to help as time permits...
