The NYC Transit Authority Police in the Bronx use a frequency that is also in use by Amtrak in DC, 160.995 MHz, I think it is, used by car maintenance in Ivy City. I see it's used in Buffalo by NS too. The NYCTA frequency used to come through loud and clear early in the morning on humid August nights.
