You will need to correct the file which you want to download for
VA STARS, so it may almost be easier to input into ARC manually.

 

You want only the frequencies for the tower site you are going to
listen to, and the talk group IDs of that Division (plus any
extras you want to add)

A separate system is needed for each tower site, although you can
"cut and paste" the TGs if you wish, into each system.



I don't have a 785 so I don't know if it programs more like the
396 or 996 (I hope it is not more like the 250D and limited to
100 spots) .

 

 

Many talk groups are broadcast from all towers across the
Commonwealth (I don't know if they all are) but if you input
Richmond TGs for the system on the Fairfax tower, you WILL hear
some of them!  

 

I am still playing with my 396T and 996T systems, so I cannot
give you the file. It still has bugs!
