I didn't feel a thing.  I was up at 4:30 and out of the shower just before 
5:00.  Then went and started boiling some eggs.  I think about then is when 
I might've heard what I just figured to be a plane taking off at Dulles, 
only about 10mi away, and when conditions are right they are very easy to 
hear rumbling.   But then while getting dressed Leesburg PD was getting 
reports from the hospital about a possible explosion because the ground 
shook.  So units started checking out the various sectors to see what they 
could find.  Then one unit said he heard something about an earthquake on 
broadcast radio so the supervisor told the units to start inspecting all the 
bridges and overpasses.
