[Scan-DC] Amtrak issue in Alexandria

VSP responded with lights and siren. I wonder if they were responding
to a passenger mutiny situation? I couldn't tell much from the radio
traffic, which I was trying to hear over my son playing Rock Band. One
officer on the scene reported 240 passengers (not sure where he got
that from), and a female officer enroute to the scene reported butting
heads with Amtrak (on cell phone) over jurisdictional issues.
The first officer on the scene told the dispatcher to wait a minute,
another train was coming and he couldn't tell if it was on the same
track. He ended the transmission telling someone to "look out."
Fortunately he came back on a few long seconds later to report the
oncoming train was on a different track. I'll have to pull up the RR
feed archive to go back to the beginning and see what this was all
about.
Thanks for the update.
