Can anyone help me find out if the Military is doing exercises in and around
Mooresville, NC (25 miles north of Charlotte) or the Lake Norman area?
Around 1PM today my son saw 12 helicopters flying low over his school.
Around 1:30PM my daughter and I saw 4 (Cobra?) helicopter fly over low over
our house. 
I do not know of any bases in the area. Nation Guard is at Charlotte
Airport.  That's about it.
We are brand new to the area. My radio is not programmed yet.
Does anyone know of any scanning groups in the area whom I can network with?
