My question is ? Everyone knew about this nasty weather heading this way. Why half of the building here didn't bother to buy a shovel ?
I let one person use my shovel and never got it back. That's for being nice

 Another reason to dig out the hydrants is to keep them visible to the snow plows!!!!!. 
There is 32 inches here. If an un-informed driver was to come through, he may
accidentally tale one out if on a corner, maybe mine!

I had a suspicion that might have happened; Montgomery sent a tanker over there... I hope not, but I bet there'll be more like that before this is over... response time is delayed anyway because of road conditions; yeah, looking for a hydrant would cost valuable time... even worse if all this stuff freezes...
