Yeah we dug out around the top of ours so it is clearly visible, but digging
all the way down would take a pile of young workers that we don't have.

I couldn't dig out my nearest hydrant if I wanted to. . . . it's buried
under an  8 foot snowbank.  And my trusty shovel (and back) are already
beaten down from the driveway/sidewalk.
