[Scan-DC] possible train crash or derailment in Fairfax

"Train 97, headed for West Palm Beach with 712 passengers and 15 crew members, was a special train, not in standard service."

No serious injuries, psgrs and engineer bumped and bruised... incident was near Cinder Bed Road south of Springfield... Amtrak planned to continue trip after derailed locomotive was removed... apparently it was only the locomotive - no word on cause.
