[Scan-DC] MWAA system transmitters

That's correct...transmitters at the two airports and at the
intersection of Rt. 267 and Rt. 7. That last one is intended to
enable their cruisers to stay in contact while running between the
airports. The antenna is very low--maybe 40 feet--and the power is
low. But it all works. Most of what you hear on these TGs is dull
stuff, unless there is an aircraft landing with a problem. And you
can hear the snowplows, which is interesting.
