[Scan-DC] A few pictures from my tour of McConnell Center

Here is a link to a handful of pictures from my tour of the McConnell Public 
Safety and Transportation Operations Center. This center is used by Fairfax 
County, Virginia State Police, and VDOT for emergency operations, 911 call 
centers, traffic control, etc.  Sorry I don't have close up pictures of the 
radio equipment, but we were not allowed to take pictures on the floor of 
the 911 center. But at least now when I listen to the VSP 
(Arlington/Fairfax), I know where their dispatch is coming from. And for you 
Fairfax County people, now you know where their dispatch comes from. The 
VDOT controls all the their traffic flow and signage (like HOV lane 
reversals, accident messages, etc) for the northern Virginia area from here. 
The large emergency operations center room is activated when there is an 
emergency (it was probably activated this past weekend for the snow storm).
