[Scan-DC] Electrical Issues in Ballston

The power outage seems very "strategic." My office building across the
street from the Hilton has its power back on. My apartment building, one
block from the Hilton, has no power.

I don't know if the Metro has its own power feeds so that it doesn't have to
worry about every little localized power outage. I would hope so.

For the second time today, a transformer in the basement of the Ballston
 Hilton has exploded. This time it is causing periodic power loss in the
 Ballston area. Arlington FD is working the incident on Fire 1C, while PD
and
 FD also respond to tons of false alarm calls caused by the power spikes.
