"What is your receiver? I bought a Radio Shack PRO-197 a year ago and they are notorious for overloading... but now that I think of it, that's on VHF.

Yeah, I imagine that the COB is one of the sites, it always was in the past when they operated on VHF & UHF. The actual communications center where the dispatchers are is now in Gaithersburg since the 800-meg system went into service.

We oughtta get together, I work at Montgomery College, right up the line from where you are.
