I have yet to hear pagers but I believe I am so close to a Montgomery County trunk site that the radio's front end gets overloaded but not consistently which confuses me...? This only happens maybe 20% of the time. If I use Global Attenuation, I miss out on other items in my scan lists. I just finished messing around with the settings with no real progress to report.

I am using a Diamond D220 mini discone on my desk next to the window. Maybe I should go back to the whip that came with the radio...although I had the same problem with that antenna as well.

I am moving to the 8th floor next month (on the second floor now). Lord only knows what will happen then!!
