I don't recall this being discussed on this group before (sorry if it has).

RadioShack is now selling an analog-only trunking scanner that incorporates
the entire RadioReference database on an included (and updatable) SD memory
card. Interesting concept.

The price is $229.95, and it qualifies for free shipping on the RS Web site.
Maybe when it goes on its yearly discount and is offered for well under
$200, I might grab one just for fun.
