[Scan-DC] Trying to save a few $$ on fully adjustable BNC back-of-set scanner antennas

I've seen them at the Frederick Father's Day hamfest. I don't think they had
the hamfest there this year so Frederick might be history now, but they
should show up somewhere. I like the ones which are flexible at the base and
are long enough to work decently on low band. I use a BNC T to be able to
tilt the antenna. I've never taken one apart, but I presume they use a short
piece of braid at the base under the shrink tubing. I've never broken one of
those like I have some of the others.

You would think that these things would be available for cheap at hamfests,
but I don't recall ever seeing them.
