Have you seen the one of the person on top of the electrified commuter line? He comes into contact with the catenary. I'm guessing that's 3,000 volts, but that's just a guess. I can't remember what MARC Penn Line; either 25K or 50K. When it was Pennsylvania RR, it was 25-cycle, 11,000 volts AC. That system was installed in the mid-1930s.

Reminds me of a YouTube video I saw a few weeks ago, which shows what
happens when such a high-voltage line comes in contact with a large tree. I
can only imagine what it would do to a person.
