Buddy of mine lives a little west of Winchester, off US 50, near Shawneeland and Mountain Falls, if any of you know where they are... he just switched his cell service to ATT because they added coverage in his area. Most cell carriers had coverage within a couple of miles of his place, but coming around a bend on 50 it would just drop out. The signal is still a little spotty at his place... he has a couple or three acres or something like that, and as he moves around the property (which is flat) the voice signal comes and goes... but strangely enough he can send and receive text messages with no problem from anywhere in the vicinity. Apparently ATT is pushing to add coverage in some of those areas in VA tho, from the sound of things.
