The plane took a eastward heading coming in from the west. There's a lake about a half-mile south of its path; that's Lake Barcroft. The plane flew over the Circuit City at Bailey's Crossroads. It went over the Fairlington complex and then directly over T. C. Williams High School. Route 402 is Quaker Lane in Alexandria. The plane made a long turn to the right before heading to the northeast between I-395 and Columbia Pike, Route 244, to the Pentagon.
