	BTW, I suspect the aformentioned satellite dishes are the NOAA
Suitland Md supercomputer weather forecast central...  those are mostly
used I bet to bring various kinds of weather data into the computer
center which runs the weather forecast models for North America and to
export other processed information to various users.

	I do know that NOAA has lots of satellite stuff, obviously there
because bad weather can knock out land lines (even fiber).... and when
there is bad weather you really want the weather forecast center
functioning with all its data.
