[Scan-DC] new PG county trunk

I thought I had mentioned this (maybe not - it's been a long day...) - but there is some talk about having some Phase I talkgroups for interops with other counties, and I *believe* that Phase II equipment is supposed to be backward compatible to work on Phase I systems.

Don't take this as gospel, though 73 Mike

Good point, Harry -

I kindof skimmed the other messages here; does anyone know if this proposed new thing (did I see TDMA?) is compatible with / will interoperate with the APCO-25 systems that most jurisdictions around here are now using? (I did see that it will not work with our scanners...)

(Personally, I can't see PG being that innovative in the first place, and the county gummint is strapped for cash as it is... making one wonder even more about the fed money!)
