Glad you imentioned that Andy, it reminded me of something I was idly thinking of while driving to work earlier... I wonder if any "space beings" have been monitoring radio emissions from Terra, and if they thought our civilization ended when a large part of the analog spectrum went silent allasudden...

 

(Personally, if TV disappeared, I think our civilization would be reborn...)
