[Scan-DC] Changing step sizes...

Check that - I had said that I thought most of the newer scanners can handle different step sizes - I was thinking of the newer Uniden models. The PSR300/400 (along with their RS clones) I don't believe have this ability - just downloaded the 300 user manual and there was no mention of this ability.

However, tuning in a split freq would still be possible with these scanners. The audio might not be so clear if the signal is weak, but it's still readable. My old trusty BC245 can tune in the newer VHF DNR channels in Md, for example, even though the audio is down, it's still copyable. 73 Mike
