Date: April 29
Location: Between Baltimore Washington International Airport (BWI) and
Baltimore Penn Station
Impact: Amtrak and MARC Penn Line train cancellations
Current Situation
Officials temporarily suspended rail service on Amtrak and MARC's Penn Line
between Baltimore, Md. and Washington, D.C. due to a major water main break.
The break, which occurred near Halethorpe, covered the rails with water, mud
and other debris. Clean-up crews are on the scene but service is not likely
to resume until at least 1200. Delays will probably extend into the
afternoon.

Advice
Seek alternate transport. Allow additional time for travel.
