[Scan-DC] Small plane down in Gaithersburg

As a side note 3yrs ago Yankees Pitcher Cory Lidel  crashed his Cirrus SR20 (SR22's Brother) into a manhattan High Rise down the block from Sotheby's  and was unable to deploy his  ballistic parachute recovery system.  His crash was blamed on pilot error.......

The  SR20 and SR22 uses an unconventional one handed side stick control which takes time to become fully acclimated to. The plus side is the Cirrus SR's are TAA and have new-generation avionics with computerized instruments and electronic map displays. It's  like a real-time version of Mapinfo and ArcView.
