 From the BNO Newsroom.

INTERNATIONAL SPACE STATION (BNO NEWS) -- The International Space
Station (ISS) crew is taking precautionary measures while it is
awaiting a possible space debris collision, a NASA spokeswoman tells
BNO News.

"A collision is possible and to avoid that, the crew will enter the
Soyuz capsule at 12.34 p.m. EDT until 12.45 p.m. EDT to evacuate in
case there is an impact," the spokeswoman said. The official described
the possibility of an actual impact as "low" but said it is a rare
event.

The size of the space debris is reported to be 0.009 meters. "Tracking
data says the object will be within a 4.5 kilometer range," she added.

Further details were not immediately available.
