I was leaving work this evening around 5 pm and heard an unknown FBI unit
(he didn't give a #) come up on the US Park Police Dispatch Channel (#2 I
believe) to report an accident...for those into Channel Plans...I wasn't
aware they had that capability, and not something I've heard before....
Albeit, an interesting exchange;
FBI: FBI to Park Police
Dispatch: FBI go ahead
FBI: I just had a single vehicle roll over in front of me, BW Parkway
southbound, south of Rt 450, I'll be out at the scene.
Dispatch: OK, we'll start fire rescue.
PP 411: 411
Dispatch: 411 go ahead
PP 411: I was driving through there while he was talking....I didn't see
any car rolled over.
Long Pause.
PP 411: 411, I was driving through there while he was talking...I didn't
see any roll over!
Dispatch: FBI?
Another Long Pause
PP 413: I'm enroute
Long Pause.
FBI: FBI to Park Police
Dispatch: FBI, go ahead.
FBI: I have one trapped with at least a hip injury.
Dispatch: Fire and rescue is enroute
PP 413: 413, on the scene with one rolled over in the middle...send a unit
to block off the Parkway at Rt 450
Dispatch: 411 can you block off the Parkway at 450?
PP 411: can't, I'm past there already.
Not exact quotes....but you get the drift.
