[Scan-DC] Problems with VRE?

They have had their share of locomotive and switch problems this AM. 

This message is for Fredericksburg Line riders:Update #6:Train 306 is stopped south of Woodbridge due to switch problems. Currently delayed 30 minutes.

Update #5:Train 308 now on the move. Will arrive Fredericksburg approximately 10-15 minutes late.

Update #4:Expect Train #308 (Departs Fredericksburg at 7:15a) to be delayed due to continued equipment problems. No delay estimate at this time. Will update accordingly.

Update #3:Train 306 now on the move. Will arrive Fredericksburg approximately 15 minutes late. Again train will also be two cars short, crowded conditions will occur.

Update #2:Train #306 (Departs Fredericksburg at 6:35a) will be delayed 15-20 minutes due to continued locomotive issues. 306 will also operate two cars short. Will update when train departs yard.

Update #1:Train 304 is now on the move. Will arrive Fredericksburg approximately 15 minutes late.

The Metrorail station manager at the Pentagon made an announcement to the effect that VRE passengers would be accepted. This makes me think that, for some reason (broken rail?), VRE trains aren't running, at least on one line. The yellow line trains northbound through the Pentagon were packed. I had to wait for the third one to get on. Two blue line trains went by, but the crowds weren't as large on them.

I saw nothing on a railfan site about any problems.
