[Scan-DC] Incident near MGH this afternoon?

I wondered if they had a helipad... I think there _was_ a helicopter standby at about that time at MGH, if memory serves.

The closest 2 stations either 4 or 40 send an engine and ambulance over to be on stand by for the landing. So the special police vehicle was probably just the hospital security vehicle. Since the hospital security works for the hospital and they own the property on which they guard they can get certified as SPO's or Special Police Officers. It's a certification through the Maryland State Police and it means they have police powers while operating on their property.
