One would think all the RR's would be used to railfans being that  
people have been taking train pics for decades.  But it never fails,  
always some Barney Fife out there that is either making up rules as  
they go along.

You'd think the RR's would be delighted to have the free extra police force hanging around. Reality is different. Worst offenders are the cops at Washington Union Station, who are certain that photography there is strictly forbidden. I think they are actually part of a mall security force and not Amtrak police.
