Actually, the City of Falls Church is not actually in Arlington or
Fairfax counties - it is an independent city with their own City
Council. They have their own volunteer fire department, but it is
technically part of Arlington County's department (Falls Church
contracts with Arlington for fire service).
Falls Church City has 4 schools - 3 of which are located in Fairfax
County (George Mason, Mary Ellen Henderson, and Mount Daniel)
Falls Church City should be switching over to a P25 system soon, I
assume Arlington's. The City Council approved a whole bunch of money
about 6 months ago for a "radio system upgrade", I assume to upgrade
their radios to be compatible with Arlington's new system.
